Search EngineUntil recently, every time I wanted to search, I just went to the start menu,
selected search for files and folders, and what is now called the "Search Companion" came up. Now some stupid "Windows Search" window comes up first, and I have to tell that window that I want the "Search Companion." I'd really like to be rid of that whole "Windows Search" window, but I can't find a way to disable it and just have things work the way they always have. Is there something I can unload to get rid of this annoyance. In the address bar for the "Windows Search" window, it says windows search, and in the search companion window it says "search results," even though there are no results before you type in what you are looking for and tell it to conduct the search. Anyone else annoyed by MS fixing stuff that isn't broken? Hi abbagabbitz
