Can't uninstall Microsoft Student 2006!!Add/Remove programs shows the program but just gives me how much use it
has...There are NO remove options. So I tried to reinstall it using the original cd and it says its already installed and that if I want it removed, to go to Add/Remove in control panel to perform that function. I'm really frustrated because its a huge program taking up a lot of Hard Drive Space and the worst is MS doesn't support the 2006 version anymore and there are no updates. Could someone please tell me how to get this forsaken program off my computer? Should I manually start deleting MS Student 2006 folders? TIA What happens when you double click on the "Student 2006" line in the ADD/REMOVE window?

And please accept my apologies. I thought you were trying to remove the program, not insist that it have a button. Some programs do not have a remove button but the remove choice appears when you select the program from the Add/Remove list. Now that I know your interest is merely tickled over the absence of the button - not in the button's functionality - I can only repeat, some applications do not have such a button. Sorry. Could someone please tell me how to get this > forsaken program off my computer? Should I manually start deleting MS > Student 2006 folders? TIA moderation in your case. Let's be a bit more moderate, especially with such a trivial problem! Why, for example, would you post a program removal question in a hardware group? Remember - program=software! Use the scroll bar when viewing the list of programs to be uninstall. This will probably make the "Remove" button appear. Sorry for the inconvenience but the scrollbar is working fine..as I scroll
down the list of programs and they are highlighting automatically..if this is what you mean. As for your moderation comment, I fail to see the purpose of your statement since I'm desperate to have this program removed and I'm reaching out to ANYONE who is remotely connected with MS to offer some advice. I "think" your advice has failed to resolve my "trivial" problem however...
