I tried to contact technical support of microsoft through email, but got message that i need paid support to contact them :-( Its strange to know that i need to pay microsoft for removing a piece of software which they have installed it on my machine without my permission... Please help me. Thanks in advance. -Ajay. Does the desktop search thing actually do anything useful? On my system, it would only find a very few files even if I searched for filenames or contents that I knew there were lots of that should match. And I already knew where my files were, anyway. I think it is because it has indexed so few files. Once all the files have been indexed (which it does when your computer is idle, and might take days) you can probably do a very powerful search, just like Google Desktop. > Thank you Gordon. Sadly, that doesn't seem possible. Or is it, and I am missing something? On Thu, 25 Oct 2007 02:21:03 -0700, Ajay.
