the only feature i liked from vista premium was the side bar with the clock
and calendar. is there any way i can put this on xp pro sp2

It's not exactly the same, but you might want to try this free
third-party program, which works well under Window Windows XP:

there is a way to install the vista sidebar on xp...

I am talking about the exact same thing.. not some alternative...

however this is not supported by microsoft.. i read about this on a website
and tried it..
and it worked but I dont like having eyecandy on my xp so I removed it.

I think the best way to go is download http://desktop.google.com

that gives you a sidebar very like the vista one. This is better than the
other sidebars the other fellows mentioned.
