Not really - at least not one you should ever reach and the drive actually
be useful in any fashion.
And the size of the drive has little to nothing to do with how many
partitions you could have on it.

you can make lots of partitions but its not very useful to do so unless you
are trying to achieve something very specific.

It has nothing to do with the size of the drive. The limit on the
number of partitions is four.

However, note that extended partitions can be divided into any number
of logical drives. Very often, most of us use the word "partition"
loosely, where we really mean "logical drives."

What happens when you run out of letters of the alphabet for the purpose
of referring to such logical drives?
