Can anyone recommend to me a source for getting the detailed
step by step procedure for setting up a LAN? (article, book, or
whatever)

I just can't seem to get it right!

I have two WinXP, one Win98se, and on Win2K computers all
plugged into a new Cable/DSL router with 4-port switch, which
also has the cable modem plugged in.

No problem with internet access from any of them, but big
hang-ups on looking at network places, using the printer
(which is plugged into one of the XPs) and accessing shared
files from either the 98 or 2K.

I would like to finally do it right!

Thanks,
E-Jo
