Domain ChangeI have install a new PDC with a new Domain I already have another domain working. (all MS XP) Question: There is sameting to do in the workstations, to change to a new domain without moving the workstation user´s files to the new domain user´s folder /documents and settings/ (username).(old_domainname) to (same username).(new_domainname) Thks Sorry my english ELTANO Use the "Active Directory Migration Tool". It can be downloaded from MS,
and it may also be part of one of the Administration Packs, but in any case it shouldn't be hard to find. Use it to "migrate" *both* the users *and* the machines to the new Domain. Be carefull!! Read the ADMT documentation!!! There are multiple scenarios,..pick the right one for your situation. Don't play "mix and match" with the scenarios! Pick the right scenario and stay within the boundaries of that scenario.
