Problem with MSN Mail

I have had MSN for about 6 years using the same e-mail address, password etc.
I accessed the e-mail on 1 Dec 08 and was able to get in, but it has not
downloaded any new messages since 1 Dec. I can go on-line through my browser
and see new messages, but my MSN software keeps saying I don't have an
internet connection (but I do)? I went to the MSN member center to download
the latest software and it starts to download then says I have lost the
connection or I do not have internet connection. Want to get this resolved
quickly, any help appreciated. Thanks.

Then, you should address your issue with MSN technical support. Use one of
