How can I change IDE-0 to IDE-1I reformatted my hard drive in windows 98. However, now I can't boot with my
floppy boot disk. I get a messages searching for boot record from IDE-0..OK and invalid sys disk, replace the disk and hit any key. How can I change my IDE-0 to IDE-1 so it will accept my boot disk in drive A. I am unable to type anything, when I hit any key the above message appears and that is as far as I can go. -- Help! This way the BIOS POST routines that check the keyboard don't think the key is stuck down. Typical keys to use are F1, F2, Esc, Del, F10, F11, and F12, though your BIOS may use a different keystroke. Try googling your machine for BIOS access. Mike. --
