Disable new records until cmdbutton is pressedIn using a form to input data to a table, the form automatically creates its
new record. I would rather have the user do that with a button when they are sure that all of the data is correct. I have the button on the form, but if I input all of the data then close the form without using the create new record button, the data is still created in a new record. I've tried using the allownewadditions=false, per jon vinson's advice to Mitch's post on 10/29/04 (Disabling new entry in recordset), but I'm having the same problem with all of the controls disapearing.
