How do I number and rank records in Access, based on another fieldI am trying to rank the records in my Access database based on a field which
contains the sum of other fields. I need them to be ranked in order from greatest to least and I need the ranking number to be returned (displayed) in a separate field. I know how to sort the records. However, I cannot figure out how to assign a numberic value to the ranking. Any input would greatly appreciated! ACC2000: How to Rank Records Within a Query
