Hello,
I have a main form "frmDailyRecords" and a subform
"dailyRecordDetails"(in datasheet view). When I enter or change anything in
the subform, the main form disappears and will only reappear by closing and
reopening. Merely looking at records does not provoke this. Any suggestions
welcome.

Hi Brian,

Are you sure that the rest of the form hasn't just scrolled out of view?  Is
there a scroll bar to the right of the screen that appears?

Thanks CW,
Yes, I'd forgotten I'd removed the scroll bars. Put them back and I
could scroll up to the main form. Then putting back the vertical scroll on
the subform fixed the problem. Thanks for putting me on the right track.
Improving my payroll program and I'm sure to be back with more questions.
