Just did a fresh reload of XP and can't figure out how to use the XP style
shut down menu (Standby, Turn Off, and Restart buttons) rather than the
classic drop down list menu style.  I've set it up the same way two other XP
machines are set up and they both have the XP style menu.  Know there is a
way and know it works but just can't find it.

Thanks,

Jon

See "How to Change the Logon Window and the Shutdown Preferences"

Thanks Tanveer, but I had tried that.  The solution was in the user account
menu, log on/off change.  I appreciate your help.

Do you not think that it's a bit vague, saying "can't figure out how to
use..." ??

If you were to be a little more specific as to what you are having a
problem with, we may be able to help...

Please re-post with some more details.
