loading Access when I already have a 2007 student Office pkg loadeI already have Office 2007, Student Version, on my computer but I need to
purchase another version to get Access for a course (too expensive tobuy the single program Access). Can I load the new Office package directly over the current one? Will I have duplicates of Excel, PPT, and Word 2007? I have documents in all of these current programs. Thanks in advance for your help! Well, you don't have documents in any program: your documents are files that
are opened with the program. If you do a custom installation of Office, you can choose to install as much or as little as you like. -- Show quoteHide quoteDoug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no private e-mails, please) "Bug" <B**@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:16C95336-ACB1-4583-9593-4BB9F0A018E5@microsoft.com... >I already have Office 2007, Student Version, on my computer but I need to > purchase another version to get Access for a course (too expensive tobuy > the > single program Access). Thanks in advance for your help! Your documents will not be affected at all by installing a new version of the program. The program is one file in its own folder, the documents are different files in a different folder. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] Thank you! One more question please: if I purchase the Ultimate Office, can
I download those other programs on another computer? I'm thinking of getting a new laptop and loading the new Excel, Word and PPT on it; can I split the package between computers?
