Add a Footer to a TableIs it possible to add a footer (or header) to a table in Access 2003? If so,
how do I go about doing this? I can add one to a form, report, etc., but cannot find where I can do this for a table if I want to print it out. Thanks! Not possible. Tables are for data storage only. They are
not intended for data entry, editing, printing, etc. -- Show quoteHide quote_________ Sean Bailey "RS" wrote: > Is it possible to add a footer (or header) to a table in Access 2003? However, technically can't you can enter data, edit your data,
and print your data in tables? I am assuming you mean you cannot change the structure of the table like you can a form or report. Is that correct? I appreciate your quick response. A table is a bunch of bits in the computer, so let's assuming that you are
talkinig about the direct table view screen. You shouldn't do any of those things there. Yes, technically you can enter data, edit your data and print your data in
tables. That doesn't mean it's appropriate to do so though! -- Show quoteHide quoteDoug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://I.Am/DougSteele (no e-mails, please!) Try 1 inch.) Yes, you can do all of those things you mentioned, however since tables are not DESIGNED for printing you have no options such as changing the header or footer. Why not print the table data correctly and create a report. Now you can set up a Report/PageHeader and Report/Page Footer with whatever information you wish. -- Fred Please respond only to this newsgroup. Neither safe nor accurate. Access forms and reports display data. Access tables store data. Just because an Access table looks like a spreadsheet doesn't mean that it is one... Good luck!
